I have enjoyed photography since I was a kid, using a twin-lens box camera to photograph my pet dinosaur.
In college I shot and processed a lot of 35mm Tri-X.
Then I came to Colorado and developed a love of nature and wildlife photography.
I have had over 200 photos published including Audubon calendars and National Geographic books.
I started Paragon Press and published several books, one was a scenic book about Rocky Mtn National Park.
My best seller by far was a wildflower field guide which was a regional best seller for several years and sold over 100,000 copies.
Lately book sales have declined since people take their own souvenir shots and use apps to identify wildflowers.
After using film for many years, I switched to a digital camera in 2010.
I was skeptical at first, but now I love digital.
The features of modern equipment let you get images that would be impossible on film.
Since the equipment makes it so easy to take good photos, everyone is a photographer,
and you can't hardly give away a photo.
Now I just take photos for my own enjoyment, and to share with visitors to this website.
